DEREK PERLMAN

Derek Perlman is a photographer born and raised in San Francisco, CA. By the age of 17, he developed a passion for photography; always carrying a 35mm film camera, he was able to capture the essence of urban street life in the bay area. Applying his gritty style to Music and fashion photography, he caught the attention of a Los Angeles based clothing brand UNIF. In 2013 he moved to LA to become UNIF's in-house photographer for four years. Derek worked for Elizabeth Hilfiger’s brand FOO+FOO until 2020. His love for music led to him photographing numerous bands and artists. Derek has created album cover art and music videos for several artists and continues to do so.
